Abu Dhabi Airports Company
Abu Dhabi Airports is a public joint-stock company and part of ADQ, one of the region’s largest holding companies with a diverse portfolio of major enterprises spanning key sectors of Abu Dhabi’s non-oil economy. Created in 2006 to spearhead the redevelopment of the Emirate’s aviation infrastructure, Abu Dhabi Airports plays an important role in the Government of Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision.
Abu Dhabi Airports is at the beginning of an ambitious transformation in our cargo infrastructure and operations to significantly grow its cargo operations and logistics activities.
Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone (ADAFZ), a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Airports, recently revealed that they are approaching successful completion of the Cargo Village and Terminal rehabilitation project.
As part of Abu Dhabi Airport’s expansion strategy to increase cargo capacity, enhance operational capabilities and attract new business opportunities, the project has equipped the cargo facilities with vital upgrades that meet the latest aviation industry standards.
Among the most vital upgrades is the new cool storage facility, developed in collaboration with Etihad Airport Services and Etihad Cargo, which will enable the airport to handle temperature-sensitive air cargo, such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare and life sciences products, in optimal conditions. With a dedicated temperature-controlled area of more than 3,300 square metres, the cool storage facility broadens Abu Dhabi Airports’ capabilities to handle all import and transit shipments, and store loose cargo and unit load devices (ULDs).
It provides a wide range of facilities and infrastructure, such as warehousing units, commercial offices, furnished facilities within a fully serviced business center, plots of land for development and a full range of essential ancillary amenities to serve everyday business needs.
We have developed an ever-expanding business platform that provides the perfect environment for your own corporate growth. With all the necessary resources in one place, we have the foundation for you to tap into fresh opportunities with suppliers, trade partners and logistics providers to reduce your costs and increase your profits. Fuel your company’s growth with our exceptional amenities, incentives and unmatched logistics infrastructure and airport services.
